Psychiatry & Mental Wellness

Our psychiatric care is built on the understanding that mental health is deeply connected to your physical well-being. We go beyond prescribing to provide truly integrated medication management, meticulously monitoring how treatments affect your whole health—from metabolism to sleep patterns.

  • Conditions We Treat: ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, and more.
  • Specialized Support: Identity-affirming care for the LGBTQ+ community, including support for gender dysphoria and hormone therapy coordination.
  • Our Approach: A combination of evidence-based medication management and supportive therapy to build practical coping skills.

Core Philosophy: Integrated Mind-Body Care

The practice operates on the principle that mental health does not exist in a vacuum. The approach recognizes the deep connection between the mind and body—for example, how anxiety can manifest as digestive issues or how depression can worsen chronic pain. By being dual-certified in psychiatry and family medicine, Dr. Gatobu manages the complex interplay between psychiatric medications and physical health conditions (such as weight, metabolism, and cardiac function).

Conditions Treated

We provide compassionate, evidence-based care for a wide range of conditions:

  • Mood Disorders: Depression and Bipolar Disorder.
  • Anxiety & Trauma: Generalized Anxiety, Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety, OCD, and PTSD.
  • Neurodevelopmental Disorders: ADHD (across the lifespan) and Autism Spectrum Disorder/IDD with affirming support.
  • Identity-Affirming Care: Gender Dysphoria, including psychiatric evaluations and medication support for hormone therapy.
  • Sleep & Life Transitions: Insomnia, sleep disorders, grief, and adjustment issues.
